Hydrogen is the ideal fuel to provide power for heat, light, and power assist, which are the only three ways people use power.

Hydrogen, converted to electricity and water, in a fuel cell, can produce that electricity at approximately three times the efficiency of the old fossil fueled generator method, and eliminates the air and water and greenhouse pollution that the fossil fuels leave behind.

People are slow to catch on! The electrolyzer (or hydrolyzer as some prefer) was invented, along with the fuel cell in 1839, by Sir Alexander Grove. The piston engine wasn't invented, by Daimler Benz, until 1856, yet for the last hundred and sixty years we, collectively, have taken the easy way and run the world, first on wood and coal fired steam, then on oil, and now we are heading towards natural gas.

Only in one short period, 1928 to 1932, was there an attempt, by Rudolph Erin in Germany, to run the world on hydrogen. After WWII the United States had created the global oil companies to supply the military all over the planet and gas was cheap.

The global oil companies have done a magnificent job of keeping oil based fuels available and relatively cheap, so most of us lazy humans have burned fossil fuels instead of trying to figure out how to run the world on renewable fuels.

Now we are beginning to understand what a mistake that was as the Earth, our only home in the universe, begins to catastrophically warm, due to the CO2 pollution caused by the burning of fossil fuels.

Yet humanity cannot yet emotionally understand, even with all the extreme weather evidence, that we must stop causing the problem, and cease the burning of fossil fuels. The drive for current profits, based on the old polluting fossil fuel system, still trumps the reality that the world is headed for catastrophic global warming.

Hydrogen fuel is the only answer. All the efforts towards biomass fuels have been proven to actually be negative in terms of greenhouse emissions (see the latest EU report on this subject.)

So humanity really only has one choice at this time- HYDROGEN FUEL- or a dead planet!!
